While the eldest member is interstate it's a good opportunity for us to eat spicier food. Two Christmases ago I got a lovely tagine and have found its perfect for slow cooking a curry. I still keep it mild for the teenager and the toddler has a separate meal altogether. The turmeric potato was a little hotter, tempered by the sticky coconut rice, cucumber and pappadums. Only problem with this meal is there is way too much washing up. Lucky I wasn't the one doing it...
