Phony maceroni
Jamie's Maceroni Cheese was a mild success. I replaced the tub of mascapone cheese with a tablespoon of light sour cream and omitted the fried rosemary (too sharp of my taste). This was listed as a vegetarian main but I decided to celebrate my new oven by roasting a bird coated in garlic butter and stuffed with lemon and fresh bay leaves. Oh Lordy. You really get what you pay for with chook, and this one was gorgeous. Lots for sandwiches tomorrow.
