Four and twenty blackbirds
Oh I really had a bit of a day. Teen meltdown, toddler tantrums, pick ups, drop offs, technology issues, printer problems and a 6pm meeting that stretched to 8pm. Somewhere wedged in the afternoon madness I managed to make Jamie's creamy chicken, leek and ham pie. It took an unreasonable amount of time but I also made mini pies for school lunch tomorrow and an extra couple for my aunt who ribs me a little about this blog (she asked if she can order take away). My sweet family waited until I got home to eat and it was delicious even at 9pm. Hope said we should have pie more than once a quarter, so a bright moment in an otherwise cloudy day.
