Saturday night is steak night. We go to Queen Victoria market in the morning and buy all our provisions for the week. We do this not to be smug but to save an enormous amount of money. It comes with it's own pleasures too of course, chocolate brioche being one! We know we are so lucky to have access to great fresh food all year round. As much as we love it, steak runs at such a premium now that we can only afford it once a week. So I get the very best eye fillet I can afford. I make fresh garlic bread and a big green salad (we eat a lot of salad as you can see!) and we savor every mouthful. Perfectly simple.
